Banking Law

The Firm has significant experience in financial institution regulatory and corporate issues. This experience includes mutual conversions, expansion and definitions of bank powers, lending limits, and fair lending laws. Additionally, we regularly prepare and review loan documents, account agreements, electronic funds transfer agreements, and all matters related to bank branching.

We are able to assist financial institutions in all aspects of compliance, on both the Federal and State levels, including federal truth in lending, truth in savings, and State usury laws.

We have particular expertise in the representation of thrift institutions and the special issues which these institutions regularly encounter.
